The 2026-edition of CHI Al Shaqab presented by Longines in Doha, Qatar, continued on Friday with a Belgian victory in the CSI5* 1.50m.

Pieter Devos (BEL) and the 12-year-old mare Jarina J (Cicero Z x Harley) bested a field of 33 horse-and-rider combinations when crossing the beam in 59.58 seconds, only fractions faster than the second-placed Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) on Iron Dames High Level (Livello x King Milforf XX). With a time of 59.72, Meyer-Zimmermann took the runner-up position, while Khaled Almobty (KSA) and Spacecake completed the podium in third in 59.82.

Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Diamantino (Diamant de Semilly x Zento) finished fourth with a time of 60.59, followed by Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) aboard Vestmalle des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet x Landor S) in fifth in 61.15.
