Switzerland's former world number one Pius Schwizer and the 10-year-old mare Scarlina de Tiji Z (Scendro x Kannan) won Sunday's CSI4* 1.50m Région Auvergne Rhône-Alpes in Bourg-en-Bresse, France.
Stopping the clock on 36.21 seconds in a jump-off between nine horse-and-rider combinations, Schwizer took the win ahead of Lily Attwood (GBR) and Cor-Leon vd Vlierbeek Z (Calvaro F.C. x Omar) in second in 36.76. Nicolas Deseuzes (FRA) and Eldorado Sunheup Z (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Quartz du Chanu) placed third after clocking a time of 38.33, while Jose Maria Larocca (ARG) and Chaquito PS (Chacco-Blue x Conthargos) finished fourth in 38.87. Philippe Rozier (FRA) aboard Le Coultre de Muze (Presley Boy x Vigo d'Arsouilles) completed the top five with a time of 41.51 in the jump-off.
