Wednesday's biggest win at Hubside Jumping Fall Tour in Grimaud, France, went to Swiss rider Pius Schwizer, who topped the CSI3* 1.45m with Chidame Z (Chippendale Z x Quidam de Revel) – 1.69 seconds ahead of his closest competitor. Schwizer was followed by two French riders; Sébastien Duplant and Michel Robert, second and third respectively with Alpha de Preuilly (Pacha de Preuilly x Cento) and Van Kilmor (Valentino x Kotrak). Fourth place went to Alain Jufer, another Swiss rider, with Cornet MM (Cornet Obolensky x Gralshueter) while Germany's Katharina Offel and Quintair (Quintero x Con Air 7) were fifth.
"I am very happy with this victory," Schwizer commented. "Chidame jumped very well today and it's a wonderful competition. I really thank the organizers for this great welcome. I have been riding Chidame for four years and she has always been a very competitive mare. She always wants to win. I hope the weekend continues as well! "
