German rider Felix Hassmann and the 13-year-old Holsteiner stallion Cayenne WZ (Claudio x Ramirado) won Saturday’s Prix GL Events at the Grand Palais, with a time of 54.99 seconds.
"I am very happy with this win," said Felix, with a smile on his face. “To win a class here, it's amazing!”
Home hero Patrice Delaveau and Vestale de Mazure HDC (Landor S x Quidam de Revel) crossed the finish line in 55.33 seconds to take care of runner-up position, while Marcus Ehning made sure Germany was represented twice on the podium to finish third on Calanda 42 (Calido I x Chasseur I). French riders Olivier Robert on Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako) and Philippe Rozier on Cristallo A LM (Casall x Corofino I) finished fourth and fifth respectively.
