Thursday's CSI4* 1.50m Prix Hermès Sellier Challenge Authuit – counting for the Longines Ranking Group D, as well as a qualifier for the Grand Prix – at the Longines Deauville Classic 2023 went to Julien Anquetin (FRA) and the 17-year-old Gravity of Greenhill (Nabab de Reve x Conterno-Grande).
With a time of 63.12 seconds, Anquetin and Gravity of Greenhill bested a field of 83 horse-and-rider-combinations with Megane Moissonnier (FRA) and the 12-year-old Bracadabra (Pacific des Essarts x Couleur Rubin) following as runners-up in 63.99. The hosts took six of the top ten placings, with Paul Delforge (FRA) and Energika des Neyes (Quick Star x Toteche du Banney) in third in 64.15. Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and Simolo de la Roque Z (Spartacus TN x Casall) finished fourth in 64.23, followed by Mariano Martinez Bastida (ESP) and Quark de Preuilly Z (Quaprice Bois Margot Quincy x Cento) in fifth in 65.00.
