Roger Yves Bost (FRA) and the 15-year-old mare Ballerine du Vilpion (Baloubet du Rouet x Quidam de Revel) won Sunday’s CSI5* 1.60m Longines Grand Prix at the 2026-edition of Longines Hong Kong International Horse Show.
Ten horse-and-rider combinations from the 21 at start in Sunday’s Grand Prix – counting for the Longines Rankings Group AA – cleared the first-round track set by Bernardo Costa Cabral (POR) and joined the deciding jump-off, where Bost and Ballerine du Vilpion clocked the winning time of 34.94 seconds. Simon Delestre (FRA) and Golden Boy DK (Diamant de Semilly x Cash) took the runner-up spot when crossing the finish line in 35.21, while Johan-Sebastian Gulliksen (NOR) and Equine America Harwich VDL (Arezzo VDL x Darco) completed the podium in third with a time of 37.60 seconds.
Sameh El Dahan (GBR) on Oscar-A (Harley x Cardento) finished fourth when the clock stopped on 38.06, while a fence down left Julien Anquetin (FRA) aboard Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege Pierreville) to fifth – despite recording the quickest time of the competition when breaking the beam in 34.18 seconds.
