France's very own Roger Yvest Bost – 2013 European Champion and 2016 Olympic team champion – took a popular home win at the 2024-edition of Saut Hermès in the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris on Saturday night.
Riding the 10-year-old mare Ever de Turan (Kannan x Ibis de Courcel), Bost won the CSI5* 1.50m Prix du 24 Faubourg after stopping the clock on 42.34 seconds in this accumulator competition. Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Jiniki (Dallas x Cantos) had to settle for second place in 43.05, while Simon Delestre (FRA) and Acatitla LS (Clearway x Alcamera de Moyon) took the third place in 43.25, followed by Jërôme Guery (BEL) and Come Away Flamingo Z (Cardento 933 x Dollar du Murier) in fourth in 43.37, and Daniel Deusser (GER) aboard Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d'Iso x Diamant de Semilly) in fifth in 43.49.
