Press release from Major League Show Jumping

Ireland's Shane Sweetnam is back on top after trading wins - and one even tie - with Daniel Bluman (ISR) last week. Kicking off the second phase of Major League Show Jumping at Angelstone Tournaments in Ontario, Sweetnam is off to a racing start with his speedy mare Karlin van't Vennehof (11yo BWP mare by Fantomas de Muze x Quasimodo Vd Molendreef D'08). They put on a show in the $75,000 CSI5* 1.50m Pommies Open on Thursday evening as a prelude to the fourth Major League Show Jumping Team Competition on Friday night.

It was an Irish battle in the six-horse jump-off with Jordan Coyle settling for second riding Boston ASK (Berlin x Quidam de Revel). Mac Cone (CAN) made his home crowd proud by taking third aboard Palina de L'Escaut (Perigueux x Gardeulan).
