Simon Delestre (FRA) and the 12-year-old mare Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze x Nabab de Reve) won Saturday night’s CSI5* 1.50m Prix du 24 Faubourg at the 2026-edition of Saut Hermès, set at the Grand Palais in the heart of the French capital Paris.
“When she’s in the kind of shape she was tonight, it is an absolute joy to be able to count on her,” Delestre said in a press release from Saut Hermès. “I went all out from the first to the last fence. These classes are reminiscent of a jump-off and to get a foothold on the podium, you really have to risk everything,” he explained about the €62,000 accumulator competition. “It’s always fantastic and incredibly moving to win here. Sunday will be an epic day with the Grand Prix Hermès but first I’m going to savour this wonderful victory!”
Thibeau Spits (BEL) and King van Essene (Calido I x Chacco-Blue) finished second, followed by Daniel Deusser (GER) and Bingo Ste Hermelle (Number One d’Iso x Diamant de Semilly) in third, Kristaps Neretnieks (LAT) on Quintair (Quintero x Con Air 7) in fourth and Gilles Thomas (BEL) aboard Qiara de Kalvarie (Sea Coast Don’t Touch Tiji Hero x Zandor Z) in fifth.
