The Longines Global Champions Tour of Mexico City kicked off in electrifying fashion, with Simon Delestre (FRA) clinching back-to-back victories in Mexico City, this time aboard Golden Boy DK (Diamant de Semilly x Cash) in the CSI5* 1.45m Trofeo Traxión Two-Phase – the very same class he won in 2024.

A jubilant Delestre shared his excitement with GCTV, saying: "After the two weeks I have had, I am in a really good mood. I feel comfortable, my horses are all jumping amazing and I am just enjoying it! The Mexico show is always fantastic so we hope to continue well for the rest of the weekend."

Ignacio Maurin (ARG) and Chacco-Conno PS (Chacco-Blue x Conthargos) took second place and Jérôme Guery (BEL) with Killer Queen (Diablo Blanco x Toulon) rounded out the podium in third.
