Brazil’s Stephan de Freitas Barcha and the 13-year-old stallion Dinozo Imperio Egipcio (Diamant de Semilly x Urbain du Monnai) won Sunday’s CSI4* 1.55m Stephex Grand Prix at the 2026-edition of Andalucía Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.

Clocking the winning time of 43.07 in a jump-off between six horse-and-rider combinations, Freitas Barcha bested a field of 49. Sanne Thijssen (NED) and Con Quidam RB (Quinar R x Cardino) took the runner-up spot in 43.22, while Roelof Brill (NED) on Iberico (Contendro I x Otangelo) completed the top three with a time of 48.61.

Only the top three delivered a double clear. Michael Pender (IRL) on HHS Cyprus (Cornet Obolensky x Acorado) finished fourth and Olivier Philippaerts (BEL) aboard Hipster SV (Corporal VDL x Cornetto) fifth, both carrying four penalties.
