After a blistering fast jump-off, it was Derin Demirsoy (TUR) and Dadjak Ter Puttenen (Toulon x Vanitas) that took the top honours in the CSI3* Arezzo Grand Prix. 21 riders – out of the 59 that started – made it to the jump-off and with several fast riders it turned out to be a race against the clock. But no one could match the 41,60 seconds that Demirsoy needed to finish the shortened course.
Gudrun Patteet (BEL) got closest and took the runner-up position with 42,25 seconds, riding Sea Coast Coco Berlini (Caspar x Quidam de Revel). Third place went to Marc Dilasser (FRA) with Cliffton Belesbat (Clinton x Halando II V/D Watering) followed by Michael Cristofoletti (ITA) with Belony (Balou du Rouet x Raphael) and Max Thirouin (FRA) with Utopie Villelongue (Mylord Carthago*HN x Calypso d’Herbiers).
