This week, the action in Doha, Qatar, continues with the 2026-edition of CHI Al Shaqab presented by Longines.
The current world number one, Great Britain’s Scott Brash and Hello Jefferson (Cooper vd Heffinck x Irco Mena) kicked off the five-star action by winning Wednesday’s CSI5* 1.50m, a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group B.
With a time of 64.10, the 2024 Olympic team gold medallists took the top honours ahead of Janne F. Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and Iron Dames High Level (Livello x King Milford XX) in second in 67.19, while Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) with Charly Heart (Cornet Obolensky x Heart-Ache BS) and Megane Moissonnier (FRA) on Qoup de Couer de Muze (Mosito van het Hellehof x Jalisco B) completed the podium in third in 67.76 – tied with the exact same time.
Nadja Peter Steiner (SUI) aboard Nice van’T Zorgvliet (Emerald x Heartbreaker) finished fifth when crossing the finish line in 68.43.
