Tobias Meyer (GER) and Quintair (Quintero x Con Air) made it a home win in the CSI4* Grand Prix in Gross Viegeln.
Six horse and rider combinations – out of the 50 starting – made it to the jump-off, while another three where clear on fences but added a time fault to their score.
Meyer finished the shortened course in 37.41 seconds, almost 1.5 second faster than runner-up Kevin Jochems (NED) riding Cristello 2 (Numero Uno x Voltaire). Markus Beerbaum (GER) followed in third after stopping the clock in 39.03 seconds with Cool Hand Luke 4 (Contendro I x Argentinus).
It was only the top three that cleared the course for a second time, while the other three ended the jump-off with four faults. Harm Lahde (GER) took fourth place after being the fastest four-faulters with his 39,.8 seconds riding Oak Grove’s Heartfelt (Heartbreaker x Rubens Du Ri D’Asse) followed by Felix Hassmann (GER) with SIG Chaccinus (Chacco-Blue x Acord II) and Willem Greve (NED) with Zypria S (Canturo x Lux Z).
