Richard Vogel (GER) dominated Monday's competitions at the CSI4* Mannheim Maimarkt Turnier in Mannheim, Germany, with two victories.

The 24-year-old German rider kicked off a successful day in Mannheim with a win in the Preis von Madeleine Winter-Schulze, a 1.45m competition against the clock. Aboard the 15-year-old Lesson Peak (Lord Z x Cashandcarry), Vogel was a second faster than runner-up Denis Lynch (IRL) on Darius de Kezeg Z (Darco x Heartbreaker). Third place went to Karim Elzoghby (EGY) on F-Narcist (Napels x Vanoverbeek), who was three seconds behind the winning time.

The 1.50m Preis der Stadt Mannheim, counting for the Longines Ranking, also went against the clock – with Vogel again delivering the fastest time. With the 11-year-old Ride Smart Never Walk Alone (Numero Uno x Mytens XX), Vogel took home the top honours with a time of 59.48 seconds. Marcus Ehning (GER) followed in 60.26 seconds, riding the 18-year-old veteran Misanto Pret a Tout (Hiram Chambertin HN x Stew Boy) while third place went to Wilm Vermeir (BEL) on Joyride S (Toulon x Pachat II) with a time of 60.81 seconds, Yesterday's winner Peder Fredricson (SWE) finished fourth with Hansson VL (Hip Hop x Iowa), while Pius Schwizer (SUI) ended fifth with Casallino (Casall x Loran).
