No one managed to stay on a clean sheet in Sunday's CSI3* Gold Tour Grand Prix in Arezzo, with Swiss rider Werner Muff securing the victory aboard the 9-year-old Daimler (Canturano x Lupicor) with one penalty overall after the two rounds.
Set at 1.50/1.55m, the Grand Prix saw twelve of the 47 riders coming back for the second round where Muff beat Danish rider Thomas Sandgaard on Amarone (Arpeggio x Potsdam) by 1.2 seconds. Third place went to home rider Emilio Bicocchi on Sassicaia Ares (Ephebe F. Ever x Rebel) finishing on a score of four faults in round two, as did Dutch rider Lisa Nooren on VDL Groep Sabech d'Ha (Qredo de Paulstra x Talent Platiere) who took care of fourth place ahead of her compatriot Jur Vrieling in fifth.
