The CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix at CHI 4Foulee in Poznań, Poland, had 48 riders representing 20 countries on the starting list. Fourteen out of these qualified for the jump-off, and the fastest clear round belonged to the two-time Polish National Champion Wojciech Wojcianiec with Chintablue (Chintan x Chacco-Blue). History was made, because it was the first time that the trophy of the most important class at the four-star show in Poznań went to a Polish athlete.

"I’m really happy. Chintablue likes to jump here. The rivalry was tough and the course was demanding. I went quite early in the jump-off, so I set the time a bit and others had to take some risks which sometimes resulted in mistakes. I was very lucky in the first round on the water fence, but Chintablue saved the day. Some great riders come here every year and all of them fight until the end,” the winner said.

Second place went to Austria’s Christoph Obernauer aboard 10-year-old Kleons Cocario (Carrico x Chambertin). 2016’s Polish Champion Kamil Grzelczyk (POL) took the third place with Mister Dr Heigl (Mylord Carthago*HN x Lamberto H) – a horse making its debut in a class at this level.
