Looking for a full-time groom/rider for showjumping stable in Luxembourg. Experience required.
Family-run stable in Luxembourg, headed by an experienced amateur showjumper who has represented his country at international championships and Nations Cups in recent years.
The person will look after a constant string of horses headed by the star Global and followed by a fun team of youngsters that are ready to step up after a quiet year.
Tasks
* Work with a set string of horses – not a commercial stable
* Grooming – at home and at shows, with a relaxed show schedule in Europe with some highlights during the year, team selections targeted
* Horse training- Flatwork, lunging and hacking
* Possibility of developing promising youngsters
* Horse transport (lorry & 2-horse van)
Skills
* Passion for horses and for making life fun and interesting for the horses
* motivated and independent
* reliable
* lorry license or willingness to pass license
