As the Longines Global Champions Tour 2023 moves into its final stages, ten out of ten of the LGCT Championship contenders are ready for a battle in Rome – at the 14th stage of the 2023-season, which takes place at the Circus Maximus from 15-17 September.
Leading the pack as the LGCT Championship leader Harrie Smolders (NED) will be joined in Rome by riders such as Maikel van der Vleuten (NED), Simon Delestre (FRA), Christian Kukuk (GER), as well current world number one Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) and world number two Julien Epaillard (FRA). Other big names include Great Britain's Olympic Champion Ben Maher, Marcus Ehning (GER), Scott Brash (GBR) and Peder Fredricson (SWE).
Local fans will be able to witness Italian riders like Lorenzo de Luca, Piergiorgio Bucci, Emanuele Gaudiano, Emanuele Camilli, Francesco Turturiello and Giacomo Casadei in action.
