Even without his presence, no one could push Scott Brash down from the top of the Longines Global Champions Tour overall standings after the leg in Rome concluded today. With only two more stages to go, Brash (GBR) leads the tour with 276 points followed by Luciana Diniz (POR) on 265 points.
Rank three is today's Grand Prix winner Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) on 262 points. Christian Ahlmann (GER) follows on 234 points and Simon Delestre (FRA) on 229 points.
