The Belgian riders dominated Saturday's biggest class at CSIO5* LOTTO Sopot, the 1.60m Memoriał Pułkownika Witolda Pileckiego presented by LOTTO counting for the world ranking.

Aboard the 11-year-old gelding Haloubet Hitchcock (Baloubet du Rouet x Heartbreaker), Pieter Devos took home the top honours after a double clear round and a time of 35.42 seconds in the jump-off. Runner-up position went to Devos' compatriot Gudrun Patteet on Sea Coast Pebbles Z (Picasso x Flamenco de Semilly), who had a time of 37.03 in the jump-off. Third, also representing Belgium, was Jerome Guery on Celvin (Raphael x Werther) - stopping the clock on 37.47 seconds. Spain's Gerardo Menendez finished fourth, and France's Nicolas Delmotte fifth.

Earlier in the day, Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano won the 1.45m speed challenge class counting for the Longines Ranking aboard Carlotta (Chaccomo x Cento). The 1.50m class went to USA's Jessica Springsteen and RMF Tinkerbell (Incolor x Argentinus).
