Bernardo Alves concluded an amazing weekend for Brazil with a win in Sunday's CSIO3* Grand Prix San Marino Arezzo, riding Vattson Sitte (Cardento x Chellano Z). Alves was also on the winning Brazilian team in Friday's Nations Cup.
There were only five riders that managed to produce clear rounds in the second part of the competition, and Alves was the fastest of them with a time of 49.13 seconds. Two Italian riders occupied the two following podium positions; Natale Chiaudani was second on Almero (Asti Spumante x Gajus) and Davide Sbardella third on Triomphe van Schuttershof (Oklund x Nabab de Reve) - with times of 50.34 and 51.75 respectively.
France's Alexandra Paillot ended fourth in this 1.60 Grand Prix, and Belgium's Karel Cox fifth.
Germany's Hansi Dreher was the fastest rider in the second round at 47.61 seconds, but with a rail down he had to settle for seventh place this time around.
