The Swiss riders had a good Saturday on home soil in St. Gallen, taking the wins in the two CSIO5* 1.50m classes of the day.
It started with Steve Guerdat on Corbinian (Cornet Obolensky x Pilot) and Pius Schwizer on Living the Dream (Toulon x Flamenco de Semilly) taking first and second in the CSIO5* Prize of MS Direct Group, a jump-off class. Almost a second separated the two riders, with Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) following in third aboard Nadal Z (Namelus R x Calvados). Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) finished fourth on Soccero 2 (Singulord Joter x Casall) while fifth went to Louise Saywell (GBR) on Lady Lou (Lord Z x Caesario).
In the 1.50 speed and handiness class, Werner Muff and Cosby (Contendro I x Landadel) took their second win of the weekend when clocking the best time in 85.03 seconds. In 85.61 seconds followed William Whitaker (GBR) on Fandango (Last Liberty x Krocket 651) to take the runner-up position while Olivier Robert (FRA) ended third on Vivaldi des Meneaux (Chippendale Z x Bamako). Edwin Smits (SUI) was fourth with Dandiego B Z (Dutch Capitol x Flemmingh), while Hans-Dieter Dreher was in the ribbons again as fifth with Tiopepe des Champs (Ogrion des Champs x Echo des Forets II).
