Shane Sweetnam made it a good Irish day in La Baule, when coming in third with Alejandro (Acorado's Ass x Continue) – more than a second behind the winning time. USA's Kent Farrington and Gazelle (Kashmir Van 't Schuttershof x Indoctro) finished fourth and France's Felicie Bertrand fifth with Sultane des Ibis (Quidam de Revel x Elan de la Cour).
