Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski and the 13-year-old Jerico (Wieland x Ever for Pleasure) took yet another home win at CSIO5* Sopot Horse Show on Saturday, when topping the 1.60m Prize of LOTTO under the patronage of Ministry of Agriculture – counting for the world ranking.
Twelve of the 45 horse-and-rider combinations in the class moved on to the jump-off, where Skrzyczynski and Jerico were the fastest with their time of 37.98 seconds. Only 0.07 seconds behind followed Dutch rider Sanne Thijssen on Con Quidam RB (Quinar x Cardino) who took the runner-up position, while Czech rider Ales Opatrny took the third place with Gentlemen vh Veldhof (Quite Easy I x Calido I) – almost a second behind the winning time. Germany's Maurice Tebbel finished fourth with Chacco's Son (Chacco-Blue x Falkenhof's Lancer), while fifth went to Colombia's Santiago Diaz Ortega with Chasandro Boy (Chacco-Blue x Sandro Boy).
Uzbekistan's Abdurakhmon Abdullaev and Dukato M (Stakkato x Cassini I) took the win in the CSIO5* 1.50m Prize of Energa Grupa ORLEN under patronage of Trójmiasto.pl, with a time of 26.16 seconds in phase two of the class. Sweden's Alexander Zetterman finished in runner-up position with Conrad (Catoki x Robin Z) after stopping the clock at 28.44 seconds, while Italy's Antonio Alfonso and Harrie (Harmony x Aramis Z) ended third in 29.89 seconds.
