Jens Fredricson (SWE) and the 10-year-old Swedish-bred Markan Cosmopolit (Cohiba 1198 x Calido I) took the top honours in Sunday's CSIO3* 1.50m Helgstrand Grand Prix in Uggerhalne, Denmark.
Thirteen of the 51-horse-and-rider combinations in the class moved on to round two, eight of them on a clean sheet. The only pair to deliver a double clear was Fredricson and Markan Cosmopolit, who left Mike Kawai (JPN) and As de Mai (Apache d'Adriers x Kannan) to runner-up position after the latter produced a faster time but with four faults added to their score against the clock. Third place went to Stephen Moore (IRL) and Albert K (Heartbeat x Quidam de Revel), also with four faults in round two. Jens van Grunsven (NED) and Heathrow (Der Senaat 111 x Dollar de la Pierre) ended fourth with four faults in round one and a second clear, while fifth went to Philipp Schulze Topphoff (GER) and Concordess NRW (Congress x Acobat 3) with four faults in round two.
