Lövsta Stud Farm in Sweden has bought the 6-year-old stallion Karmel vd Watering (Diamant de Semilly x Quickstar).
Karmel vd Watering is approved by the Zangersheide Studbook, and with Belgium's Nick Vrins in the saddle the stallion qualified for the finals at the 2015 FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships at Zangersheide. This year Karmel vd Watering and Vrins took the lead in the Pavo Cup for young stallions, after two rounds. Due to the sale to Sweden he will not be competing in the third and finishing round.
Swedish rider Jens Fredricson, responsible for the development of the breeding of showjumpers at Lövsta Stud Farm, will continue to educate and compete Karmel vd Watering, in which he sees a new horse for big championships.
"I’m very happy to get the chance to educate and compete a horse like Karmel. He is a super talent with remarkable technique, fast reflexes and super rideability," Jens Fredricson says.
The stallion will be shown by his usual rider Nick Vrins at the stallion tests in Flyinge next week.
