Jerome Guery and Eras Ste Hermelle victorious in Prix Ffe Equi’action in La Baule

Thursday’s CSIO5* 1.50m against the clock at Longines Jumping International de La Baule was won by Jerome Guery (BEL) and Eras Ste Hermelle (Vargas de Ste Hermelle x Andiamo). 

Guery stopped the clock at 67.63 seconds, leaving 1.15 seconds down to runner-up Shane Sweetnam (IRL) with Indra van de Oude Heihoef (Casantos x Action-Breaker). Third place in this world ranking class went to home rider Mathieu Billot (FRA) with Lord de Muze (Nabab de Reve x For Pleasure) after he crossed the finish line in 69.46 seconds. Elin Ott (SUI) with Remix (Quidam de Revel x Come On) followed in fourth ahead of Marc Dilasser (FRA) with Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly x Qualisco III) in fifth. 

Earlier in the day, Filippo Marco Bologni (ITA) took the top honours in the 1.45m Prix Département Loire Atlantique riding Diplomat (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Darco). Second place went to Gregory Cottard (FRA) with Cocaine du Val (Mylord Carthago x Si Tu Viens) and third place to Francisco Pasquel (MEX) with Coronado (Cassini I x Acord II).
