The victory in Thursday's CSIO5* 1.50m ClipMyHorse.Tv Trophy at the Agria Royal International Horse Show 2024 at Hickstead, Great Britain, went to Germany's Jörne Sprehe and the 10-year-old stallion Toys (Toulon x Quidam de Revel) who stopped the clock on 36.44 in the two-phase competition.

“Toys was jumping really amazing,” Jörne said in a press release from The All England Jumping Course. “I know that he's always fast, but Toys has a really big stride."

Sameh El Dahan (GBR) and WKD Toronto (Tornesch 1042 x Carnaval Drum) took the runner-up spot with a time of 36.88, while Tom Wachman (IRL) and Obora's Laura (Luidam x Non Stop) placed thrid in 36.89. Adrian Speight (GBR) and Millfield Baloney (Balou du Rouet x Kanudos) followed in fourth in 37.49, while Giacomo Casadei (ITA) and Corradiena van'T Klein Asdonk Z (Cornet Obolensky x Andiamo Z) placed fifth in 37.87.

The second five-star class of the day, the CSIO5* 1.45m Royal International Vase saw Joseph Stockdale (GBR) and Equine Rescue Services Kandleford (Kannan x Pythagoras) take the top honours. With a time of 65.86, Stockdale took the win ahead of Matthew Sampson (GBR) and King Lepatino (Arezzo VDL x Lord Z) in second in 67.84, followed by William Whitaker (GBR) aboard Active Spirit (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Bamako de Muze) in third in 67.87.

“It’s definitely special to take an international win here," Stockdale said in a press release from The All England Jumping Course. "There isn’t really anywhere else like it in the world. It’s such an impressive ring and it’s always a great crowd and a great feeling."
