After the penultimate Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup leg in Dublin, Netherlands stays on top of Europe Division 1 with one leg left to go at Hickstead next week.
Ireland was able to climb up to rank two with yesterday's second place and has collected 323,33 points overall, while Sweden is in third place with 305 points.
None of the top three teams are allocated to take more points during the final leg at Hickstead, but Ireland will also have points distributed for the cancelled leg in Lummen.
The teams travelling to Hickstead to fight for more points are Switzerland, currently in fifth with 245 points and the only team with the possibility to push Netherlands off their throne if they can pull home a win, Great Britain, Italy, Belgium and Germany. The three latter all depend on a good result next week to remain in Division 1.
