The Grand Prix of the City of Barcelona: It's Folie's world and we're just living in it...

CSIO5* Longines League of Nations™ Final 2025

It's Folie's world, and we are all just living in it... The fabulous chestnut mare took her second five-star Grand Prix win of the season, and of her career, on Friday, when topping the CSIO5* 1.60m Grand Prix of the City of Barcelona – showing us all that she is really growing in to the very highest level of the sport after her two silver medals at the 2025 Longines FEI Jumping European Championship in A Coruña, Spain, this summer.

"Folie was yet again incredible, I feel very privileged to be riding her," Brash told World of Showjumping after the win. "It feels like she has grown into jumping the top end of the sport more comfortably now and just loves her job."

And with these words, we take a look back at the Grand Prix of the City of Barcelona – with a lot of Folie-fun, as well as some stunning images of the expressive Ikigai who finished second with Alex Matz, and of course the best of the rest.

Photo © Jenny Abrahamsson/WoSJ "I thought it was a tough course when I walked it but it rode a bit nicer than I thought it was going to," Brash told World of Showjumping. "There were faults all over, which is always the sign of a good course. The time was very fair and there were decisions to make and I think Santiago Varela got the right amount of clears to have an entertaining class."
