It's a sport full of ups and downs... After easily jumping clear in Friday’s round under the lights, Daniel Deusser and Killer Queen had to add eleven faults to their score on Sunday. First a pole fell on the oxer at no. one, and then, on the triple bar coming into the combination at 4ab, the two had a misunderstanding and a refusal…
…but managed to clear it on the second attempt and finished the rest of the course without further faults.
Spencer Smith delivered the only clear round for Team USA with Quibelle. The Americans ended 5th.
Malin Baryard-Johsson’s H&M Indiana being her normal feisty self, jumping a clear round for Team Sweden that ended fourth with four faults overall.
Barcelona-based Pedro Veniss was very happy when jumping a clear round for Brazil with Böckmann’s Lord Pezi Junior. The Brazilian team finished 7th of the eight teams.
