Willem Greve was crowned Dutch Champion this weekend in Deurne, the Netherlands. Greve rode the 10-year-old stallion Highway TN (Eldorado Van De Zeshoek x Chellano Z) to the victory – finishing the championship on a score of 1.27.
“Finally it worked out," Greve said after his gold medal. "I've been close so many times. It's my first time on the podium and then also at the highest. Highway TN is a crack of a horse that I have invested a lot of time in. Everything fell into place here."
Bart Bles took the silver medal with El Rocco (Zirocco Blue x Ircolando), after finishing on a score of 6.83, while the bronze went to Sanne Thijssen and Hi There (Nabab de Reve x Numero Uno) on a total of 8.03.
