Peder Fredricson (SWE) and the 17-year-old Hansson WL (Hip Hop x Iowa) won Saturday morning’s CSI5* 1.45m NAB Bliksembeveiliging Prize at the 2025-edition of The Dutch Masters in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands.
“This was fun, old Hansson found good speed,” Fredricson told World of Showjumping. “I am having a good weekend, I have two older horses here and they both feel in great form.”
Crossing the finish line in 59.52 seconds, Fredricson snatched the win from Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Fiona Des Ibis (Quamikase Des Forets x Quidam de Revel) who had to settle for second in 59.59, while Simon Delestre (FRA) and Golden Boy DK (Diamant de Semilly x Cash) rounded up the top three taking the third place in 61.93. The hosts’ Mans Thijssen (NED) and Knockout Eb (Etoulon x Corrado I) finished fourth in 62.17, followed by Harrie Smolders (NED) aboard Deesse de Kerglenn (Mylord Carthago x Crusador) in fifth in 62.41.
