Saturday morning's first class in Aachen - Preis der Soers - was more like a warm-up class than an actual competition. There were a lot of time faults and several schooling rounds to prepare the horses for tomorrow's Rolex Grand Prix, but still some riders gave it a go and Patrice Delaveau with Lacrimoso 3 HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) was one of them bringing home the win to France with the fastest clear round stopping the clock at 71.15 seconds.
Runner-up was the young German rider Laura Klaphake with Cinsey (Contendro I x For Pleasure), who was over three seconds behind on the time while Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar with Rokfeller de Pleville Bios Margot (L'Arc de Triomphe x Apache d'Adriers) took the third place.
