We look back at Thursday's Mercedes-Benz Nations Cup at CHIO Aachen, that was full of thrills and spills. First out, Swedish hero Peder Fredricson who nailed the victory when delivering the clear round that was required abord H&M Christian K.

Akuna Mattata did not find the big stadium in Aachen to be to her liking. With Nicole Shahinian-Simpson being unable to get on when the mare finally entered the ring, with her rider next to her by foot, the bell was rung and the pair was eliminated.
Maikel van der Vleuten and Dana Blue delivered a clear round as pathfinders in the Nations Cup for the Netherlands.

Thumbs up from Germany's Daniel Deusser, who only recorded a time penalty over the two rounds with Calisto Blue.
Gregory Wathelet and Iron Man van de Padenborre were clear in the first round for Belgium.
They are a relatively new combination, but have already formed a great partnership: McLain Ward and Noche de Ronda delivered one of two double clear rounds for Team USA.
