Thomas Frühmann’s crowd favourite The Sixth Sense (Zorro T x Grannus) has passed away, at the age of 26.

Together, the pair recorded numerous Grand Prix victories and podium finishes during their long and successful career – Barcelona, Budapest, Gijon, Hannover, Humlikon, Madrid, La Coruna, Leipzig, Linz, Paderborn, Salzburg and Treffen were among the many venues where the pair finished in the top three. At the age of 20, The Sixth Sense was retired from the sport in an emotional retirement ceremony in Vienna in 2016 – where the showjumping community celebrated the careers of the Austrian legends.

On his official Facebook page, Frühmann wrote: “A legend is no more! My hero, my buddy, my fighter and friend is now on the eternal pasture with his colleagues! Thank you dear Elisa and Karin for the loving and caring care in his last years! With you he was happy! Thanks for EVERYTHING "Senserl" - see you in Heaven.”

Our thoughts go out to Frühmann, and all those close to The Sixth Sense.
