More is more: The Fancy Dress Relay at London International Horse Show in images

The Fancy Dress Relay at London International Horse Show really has something extra; have you ever seen 68-year-old John Whitaker like above?

Seven teams with two riders on each team gave their best to not only win the class, but also to charm the audience and the judges. It was not only about being clear and fast, the riders also got scores from the three judges of the class; one of them being Santa Claus himself.

Matt Sampson was teamed up with Harry Charles as Dick Whittington & The Cat.

It was also the two of them who won the class, as last to go.

John Whitaker gave his all dressed up as one of the Ugly Sisters, together with...

... his son Robert Whitaker. Robert did his best to bribe the judges, and when that didn't work...

... he gave himself a score of 10! Despite all the efforts, the Whitaker-team had to settle for the 5th place.

Austin O'Conner was dressed up as Peter Pan, and was teamed up with...

... Gemma Stevens as Hook. The team ended third.

Ahead of the last team, which was Dick Whittington & The Cat, the previous competitors decided to storm the ring to put the fences up: Here Cinderella and the Queen sabotaging.
