The 2025-edition of Jumping International Bourg-en-Bresse in France concluded with a home win for the host nation’s very own Megane Moissonnier and the 13-year-old stallion Crooner Tame (Conrad x Quaprice Boimargot Quincy) in Sunday’s CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix de la Ville de Bourg-en-Bresse.

The twelve best pairs out of the 50 horse-and-rider combinations at start continued to the second round, with only Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Untouched LB (United Touch S x Cornet Obolensky) clearing the first round-track set by Gregory Bodo (FRA). However, the German rider collected eight penalty points in the second round – leaving him out of contention.

Carrying two time penalties from round one, the 27-year-old Moissonnier and Crooner Tame delivered a clear in the second round – taking the win ahead of Benoit Cernin (FRA) and Dynamite du Miral (Nabab de Reve x Alligator Fontaine) in second with a score of four. Antoine Ermann (FRA) and Foxpit Grim (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Papillon Rouge) placed third, also with a score of four but a slightly slower time than Cernin.

The hosts dominated Sunday’s Grand Prix by taking seven of the top ten placings. With a total score of five faults after two rounds, Arthur Le Vot (FRA) and Djinn Cece (New Look du Thot x Elixir de Madame) finished fourth, followed by Penelope Leprevost (FRA) and Bingo Del Tondou (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Querlybet Hero) in fifth on a score of six.
