A month-and-a-half after taking the title at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final 2025, Julien Epaillard (FRA) and the 12-year-old gelding Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) were back at their best with a win in Friday's CSI4* 1.50m presented by Optical Center in Canteleu, France.
With a time of 36.42 seconds in a jump-off between 20 horse-and-rider combinations, no one could catch the French duo who had more than 1.5 seconds down to runners-up Nicola Philippaerts (BEL) and Derby de Riverland (Kannan x L'Arc de Triomphe). Jules Van Hoydonck (BEL) placed third riding Minte vd Bisschop (Plot Blue x Parco) to a time of 38.46 seconds, followed by Matthew Sampson (GBR) and Un Secreto Z (Ultra Boy x Arko III) in fourth who clocked a time of 39.06, while Alexis Borrin (FRA) and London's Bella (London x Sandro Boy) finished in 39.38.
