At the DKB Pferdewoche in Hohen Wischendorf, Germany, it was home hero David Will who secured himself the biggest win of the day when he took the top honours with the 10-year-old mare Xixo Borgia (Big Star x Sandro Boy) in Friday's CSI4* 1.45m presented by Erdbeerhof Glantz KG.
"Xixo Borgia is a very large-framed horse and has such a good attitude – it worked out really well," Will commented in a press release from DKB Pferdewoche. "She is a fantastic horse owned by Ramzy Al Duhami from Saudi Arabia, who I train regularly," Will explained about his winning mount.
With a time of 57.55 seconds, Will was the best among an all-German top four consisting of Michael Kölz and Cellato (Cellestial x Callato) who finished as runners-up in 59.10 seconds, Richard Vogel and Phenyo van het Keysersbos (Corydon Van T&L x Heartbreaker) who took third place after clocking in on 59.12 seconds, followed by Felix Hassmann on C'est la Vie (Comme Il Faut 5 x Cristallo 7) in fourth place in 60.15 seconds. Fifth place went to the owner of the winning horse, Ramzy Al Duhami – representing Saudi Arabia – on Addressee (Messenger x Chacco-Blue).
