David Will (GER) and the 10-year-old gelding Zaccorado Blue (VDL Zirocco Blue x Acorado) won Saturday's CSI4* 1.45m small Grand Prix at the Andalucía Sunshine Tour.
A total of 88 horse-and-rider combinations had lined up for this class counting for the Longines Ranking, and 28 of them qualified for the jump-off. With a time of 39.27 seconds, Will was the fastest against the clock. Carlos Eduardo Mota Ribas (BRA) followed in runner-up position after clocking a time of 39.90 aboard Trix (Asterix E Z x Skippy II), followed by Charlotte Bettendorf (LUX) and Babacool (Tlaloc M x Urbain du Monnai) in third with a time of 40.32 seconds. The fourth place went to Matthew Sampson (GBR) and MGH Candy Girl (Sligo Candy Boy x Crusing), followed by Commandant Geoff Curran (IRL) and HHS Clinstown (Obos Quality x Cavalier Royale) in fifth.
