Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking (GER) and the 13-year-old mare Pepina G (Perigueux x Chacco-Blue) went to the top in Saturday's CSI4* 1.50m Medium Tour Final presented by Mecklenburger Unternehmergruppe at the DKB Pferdewoche 2025 in Hohen Wieschendorf, Germany.
With a time of 33.13 seconds in a jump-off of 15 horse-and-rider combinations, Rieskamp-Goedeking left a 0.5 seconds gap down to runner-up Richard Vogel (GER) and Call Me Jabri (Call Me Pezi x Böckmann’s Lord Pezi) – winners of Thursday's 1.45m. Kevin Jochems (NED) and Prada di Costa M (Vannan x Gitano) completed the podium with a time of 33.32 seconds in the jump-off.
"I can rank today's win with Pepina G right at the top," said a delighted Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking in a press release from DKB Pferdewoche. "Basically, I knew that Pepina can make a lot of things possible. And Christopher (Kläsener) was ahead of me and showed me that Richie's time was definitely beatable. It was good to see that it was possible. Then I decided to take one stride less to the third jump, which worked well, and we got into a flow—and that's how we won."
In the CSI4* 1.55m Championat der BSC Energie GmbH it was Marc Houtzager (NED) who took the win as he rode the 17-year-old mare Sterrehof's Dante (Canturano x Phin-Phin) to a time of 43.78 in the second round – which went against the clock and was open to the best 13 horse-and-rider combinations from the first round. In 45.11 seconds, Gerritt Nieberg (GER) and Ping Pong van de Lentamel (Emerald x Toulon) followed in second place, while Marco Kutscher (GER) and Catelly (Catalido x Ephebe For Ever) completed the podium in third with a time of 47.59 seconds.
Kevin Jochems (NED) was once again in the ribbons when finishing fourth with Shanroe Peeters (Dallas VDL x Condios), followed by Christian Kukuk (GER) in fifth with Espoir Blanc Cristal (Vigo Cece x Conterno Grande) – both pairs with four faults in the jump-off.
