Take a look at some of the highlights from the Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen: The only combination to post three clear rounds in the Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen was Christian Ahlmann and Codex One. All photos (c) Jenny Abrahamsson.
- Eric Lamaze and Zigali P had one time fault in the first round. After getting the take-off to the fourth oxer totally wrong in the second round, Eric decided to retire.
- Frank Schuttert had his hands full guiding Winchester through the course in Aachen. As they crossed the finish-line the result was one pole down and one time penalty.
- Gerco Shcröder and Glocks London had four faults and was the first combination not to qualify for the second round.
- We are impressed of what this rider achieves with one horse after the other. After two clear rounds in the Nations Cup on thursday Gregory Wathelet rode a clear first round in the Grand Prix with Conrad de Hus.
- We love this rider - Jeroen Dubbeldam rode to super nice rounds aboard Zenith Sfn. Four faults in the second round placed them as number nine.
- We have seen Lauren Hough and Ohlala win many classes over the last two years. But their two clear rounds and the four-fault jump-off in the Aachen Grand Prix impressed us more than any win. The little mare really jumped her heart out securing a super fifth place in the biggest Grand Prix there is at 5* level.
