The Dutch dominated Sunday’s 1.45 Provincie Noord-Holland Prijs at Jumping Amsterdam, taking the top four places in the competition. With no less than seventeen riders in the jump-off, it was bound to be a real race against the clock – and this was also how it turned out. Timothy Hendrix set the target as first to go with a really quick and beautiful round on Cedrick 8 (Couleur-Rubin x Quattro B), nailing every turn to stop the clock at 36.35 seconds.

It was not to last though, as three of his compatriots would overtake him as the jump-off progressed. In the end it was Marc Houtzager that was the fastest on the nine year old Bylou (Phin Phin x Niveau), with a round as fast as 35.47 seconds. Leon Thijssen did his best to beat Marc, but had to settle for the runner-up spot on Quintera (Kannan Kwpn x Quick Star Sf) 0.09 seconds behind. Wout-Jan van der Schans squeezed into third between Leon and Timothy – riding Capetown (Oklund x Carlino) to a time of 35.87 seconds.
