This weekend’s CSI2* Grand Prix winners

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Oak Grove S Heartfelt (Heartbreaker x Quiasibelle du Seigneur) won Sunday’s Grand Prix at Absolute Horses in Sommersted, Denmark. Bengtsson claimed the win only 0,03 seconds ahead of another Swedish combination; Peder Fredricson and H&M All in (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Andiamo Z). Marcus Ehning had brought Comme il Faut 5 (Cornet Obolensky x Ratina Z) to Denmark for the weekend to end third in the Grand Prix.

The 2* Grand Prix was also the final of the Nordic Championship which made Bengtsson the new Nordic Champion while Fredricson secured the Silver medal. The Bronze medal went to Norwegian rider Line Karlsen Raaholt and Abrisco V whom ended as number four in the Grand Prix behind Ehning. All riders were double clear around Bo Bak Andersen’s track with the fences set at 1.45 meters.

In Hardelot the French riders dominated the Grand Prix and the victory went to Thomas Ponthieu riding Qualine de Courchel (Dollar de la Pierre x Saphir du Riou) with Valentin Marcotte and I’m Quite Bright (Quite Capitol x I Love You) in second and Eric Dewulf with Norton d’Eole (Cento x Jalisco B) in third.

The 2* Grand Prix in Opglabbeek got a Canadian winner with Tatiana Dzavik and Hot Shot van de Hoendrikshoeve (Winningmood x Heartbreaker). Dutch rider Bart Bles and Babylotte (DOllar du Murier x Concorde) came second with Michael Vreys and Heidelberg van het Lindenhof  (Amorosso vd Helle x Darco) representing Belgium in third. It was only the top three riders who were able to produce two clear rounds out of the 54 riders entered for the class.
