It was an outstanding win for Marc Bettinger and the 11 year old stallion Bacardi (Balou du Rouet x Argentinus) in the 2015 FEI Zangersheide Sires of the World competition. The two were more than 1,5 second faster than runner-up Sam Polleunis with Okidoki van't Gelutt Z (Omar x Lux Z) in the jump-off. Third place in this 1.50 class went to James Billington with VDL Cartello (Cartani x Lord) while Clarissa Crotta took the fourth place with Conte Bellini (Cornet Obolensky x Ramiro) and Joe Clayton the fifth place with Velini (Cheers Cassini x Kigali).

56 horse and rider combinations participated in the class, which involved lots of faults - with the open water causing plenty of problems, both with refusals and in horses landing in the middle of it. Also both combinations - the yellow combination with an oxer and a vertical and the Longines triple combination with a vertical, vertical, oxer - caused poles to fall frequently. The class had very few highlights and some of the horses and riders didn't look quite ready for the big fences and the technical course. But in the end there were some good combinations in the jump-off and a very happy top three.
