In the spotlight; Top showjumpers go to Aintree

Lot 32 – Irresistible – 3yo mare by Vittorio

The NEW Brightwells Sale of Show Jumpers and Event prospects at Aintree Equestrian Centre on Saturday 30th April is proving to be a big talking point.

The sale, which is the first to be held at Aintree, has attracted high quality sport horses of all ages, including entries from leading names in the world of show jumping.

An abundance of top jumping bred horses are going, by sires such as, Indoctro, Plot Blue, Diarado and Comme Il Faut.

Sarah Johnson, Brightwells Selector says “I am delighted with the response we have had from both vendors and prospective buyers. I believe this sale will become an event on everybody’s calendar, particularly in the North of England”.

With the support of vendors all over the United Kingdom and Europe, the catalogue will fit the bill for all purchasers’ requirements. The sale takes place at 6pm on Saturday 30^th April, in the fantastic Aintree Equestrian Centre, with 3 year olds loose jumped in the morning of Friday 29^th April, followed by a ridden presentation.

Lot 10 - Ivo - 3yo stallion by Tangelo VD Zuuthoeve
Ivo achieved 2nd place in the loose jumping competition at Rhede, Germany in February this year on a score of 8.4. qualifying for the final in Munster.

Lot 32 – Irresistible – 3yo mare by Vittorio
Irresistible won a loose jumping competition at Oirschot, Holland in January this year, judged by the Dutch team captain Rob Ehrens, who described her as a horse with much power, very careful and excellent scope.
