Patrice Delaveau’s Lacrimoso 3 *HDC (Landjunge x Cascavelle) will have to take a break from competition until the autumn, following an injury.

Haras des Coudrettes, that owns the horse, reports the news on their official Facebook account. Following Lacrimoso's behavior at the World Cup Finals in March, which was quite out of character, the 12-year-old gelding was checked by the vet. An MRI scan resulted in an injury diagnose, which now forces Lacrimoso 3 *HDC to take a longer break from competition.

Lacrimoso 3* HDC showed fantastic form earlier on in the indoor season, winning the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix at the Longines Masters of Paris, as well as the Miasuki Trophy at the same event. The pair also won the Prix Emirates at the Longines Masters of Los Angeles in October.
