The 22-year-old Irish rider Jonathan Gordon will become Ashford Farm’s new rider.

Last week, Marlon Modolo Zanotelli and Angelica Augustsson Zanotelli announced that they from the 1st of January 2017 will be leaving Ashford Farm to start up their own business.

Enda Caroll, who runs Ashford Farm, can now announce that he has found a new rider to fill Zanotelli’s shoes: "I have been following Jonathan for the last couple of years and he has really impressed. He has an extreme riding talent, and is motivated and serious. The plan is for him to take over Marlon's horses and I want him to be able to do the top sport," Enda explains to World of Showjumping.

Gordon has for the last years been working in Germany, and has already proven himself at CSI3* level. This year he also competed at the CHIO Aachen with good results. The Irish rider is also a member of the International Young Riders Academy.

Jonathan Gordon will join Ashford Farm from the 1st of October.
